British Arts Marketing Leaders to speak in Amsterdam

We’re delighted to announce two more speakers for the Arts Marketing Europe conference which is taking place in Amsterdam, March 2nd 2018.

Jackie Westbrook is the Marketing & Communications Director for Edinburgh International Festival, the world renowned festival of performing arts which is held annually over three weeks in the Scottish capital every August.

The International Festival brings top class performers of music, theatre, opera and dance from around the world to perform.

Jackie has led the marketing of this extraordinary event for more than twenty years, so she has a wealth of insights to share with delegates in Amsterdam.

We’re also pleased to announce that JoJo Tyhurst, Communications Manager for Punchdrunk Theatre will be speaking at the conference.

Punchdrunk is a British Theatre company, formed in 2000, by Artistic Director Felix Barrett. Since its inception, Punchdrunk has pioneered a form of “immersive” theatre.

In a typical Punchdrunk production, audience members are free to roam the performance site, which can be as large as a five-story industrial warehouse. They can either follow the performers and themes (there are usually multiple threads at any instant), or simply explore the world of the performance, treating the production as a large art installation.

JoJo and Jackie join arts marketing leaders from Spain and the Netherlands for a day which is sure to prove unmissable. More speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.
